He claimed to be the son of God

The one from above = God

Because Caesar had all "political" power and could "remove" Pilate from his position

So that one can see that what is happening is according to God’s plan

It demonstrates his heart of compassion

He gave up his spirit  It was not taken from him

He in no way deserved crucifixion or any other death, he was innocent

Because he wanted to obey the Father, and to give his life up as a sacrifice for humanity
