He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit and he prunes the branches that are bearing fruit

So that they will bear more fruit  He has an heart of compassion, to bring about the best for the branches

The branch must remain in the vine

The follower of Jesus must have a true and abiding relationship with Jesus

It is useless

Jesus’ love

Obedience to his commandments

This will give them great joy

To love one another, as he loved them

By dying on the cross for them

Reject

Because they really do not know God the Father who sent Jesus
